EAM Bar-Coding

The Storeroom Manager’s “Dream Come True”

History: Elke Corporation’s Main/Tracker ADC product was first released in 1989. Main/Tracker ADC development and support was discontinued in 1994. TEAMS Corporation developed the “Next Generation” of ADC in 2004. ADC/EAM™ provides the “Missing Solution” and incorporates “State of the Art” Radio Frequency Technology. The application resides on the IBMi to enable real-time, interactive processing. No middleware product or batch processing is required.

• ADC/EAM™ - Part Issues/Returns

Work Order Process

Simply scan the Work Order# and Task# from the bar coded W/O; scan the Part ID from your bar coded bin label, enter the Quantity to issue; then press F2 to accept the transaction. It takes seconds to create the transaction, which eliminates data entry errors and contributes to cost savings. The savings are realized immediately and compound for every transaction generated using ADC/EAM™. The process illustrated above is also available for Part Issues/Returns to a Machine ID, Employee ID, or Reference ID, and on-demand Part Quantity Adjustments.

• ADC/EAM™ - Cycle Counts

Cycle Count Process

Idea: Replace the traditional Cycle Count report and #2 pencil with ADC, simply scan the Part ID from your bar-coded bin label, enter the actual Quantity on hand: then press F2 to accept the count transaction. It takes seconds to create the transaction, which eliminates data entry errors and contributes to cost savings. The savings are realized immediately and compound for every count transaction generated using ADC/EAM™.
